About Me
Welcome to a world full of color and imagination bursting with abstract landscapes and deep diving into the sea.
Sabi's artwork will transport you to another world, where you can get lost staring into the artworks and always discovering new colors and shapes under the many layers of the paintings.
The tactile nature of the impasto texture invites you to naturally want to touch and feel the paintings, which you are more than welcome to do. The inspiration stems from memories of childhood, family road trips spent basking in the summer sun and influences from the natural environment nearby.
The paintings are all created to make a statement on any wall, residential or commercial, and will definitely ensure your house becomes a home.
"My parents were creative in their own way. My dad worked hard as a draftsman, so I grew up seeing him sit at his drafting table creating complicated drawing plans all day with his pencils and rulers, never quite understanding what they all represented. My mum was a very proud dressmaker, always sewing at the kitchen table which naturally meant that my childhood wardrobe was all created by her.
I was always a creative child, I loved to write and draw and explore however "real life" took over and as an adult I spent years in the corporate world, working in advertising, marketing, radio and media. My true passion was always to do something creative.
It wasn't until the sudden passing of my father which led me back down the creative path. Painting offered me a calm that I couldn't find anywhere else, as well as the ability to completely tune out and immerse myself in art. I love allowing myself to be creative and completely lost within a painting. Painting takes me on an exciting, meditative journey. I am naturally drawn to bright color palettes and love the many textures that can be achieved within a painting using my palette knife and impasto skills. I am an organic painter, I allow my mood to guide me.
I am incredibly fortunate to call this my job, having hundreds of collectors around the world (including Europe, Asia, US & the UK) who all own a little piece of my heart."
